|Haha, such a weirdo.|
Hey you lovely lot!
I’ve been taking lots & lots of pictures for upcoming posts this past weekend, so I feel so much more prepared and happy for what’s in store on the blog this week. I’ve been spending the past month settling into my job writing amazing cultural content all day & brainstorming for social media ideas, and now I’m ready to focus on my own wee digital hobby! Look out for my pick of the AW14 beauty looks, new makeup releases and how I’m keeping my skin nourished as the harsh winter weather approaches Edinburgh. First up, here’s what I’m keeping myself cosy in now that the cold is firmly here to stay!

So! This is pretty much my daily get-up for work most days. However, I’m usually rocking a skirt or dress with tights, so this is more of a weekend version.. but, you get the picture! I wore this version to head out for hot chocolate & fresh flowers – my new favourite autumn weekend activity. I bought the coat and scarf last week and can’t stop wearing them – they’re the perfect mix of on-trend, comfy and easy to dress up or down. In fact, I’ve worn the coat on a night out too and it looked pretty good with an LBD! The boots are from last winter from New Look (can you tell I practically live in New Look?!), and will likely die a painful death before the snow hits the ground, but for now I can’t get enough of their eternal comfiness. Will scout out some new boots when that fateful day arrives! Probably.. or just wear them ’til the soles fall off. Standard.

Oh yeah.. and the fancy balloons are from my trip to see Mulberry‘s new Cara Delevingne collection at their Multrees Walk store in Edinburgh. Me, Lianne, Rosie & Gillian ended up skipping outta there with hundreds of gold balloons and they’re still going strong in our living room! Gotta love helium balloons. Here are a few pictures from that evening:
|Clockwise from top left: Gillian is firmly in love with the Willow Tote in navy with calf & ostrich mix; beautiful AW14 tailoring; balloons ahoy; Cara’s breathtaking collection trailer in the Scottish Highlands; my favourite Small Willow Tote in wheat ♥; Cara’s bag in black quilted lamb nappa|
Hope you enjoyed my autumn WIWT post! I’ll be back with more lovely posts ASAP – don’t let me lose my blog mojo, people, eek!
Tell me what I should get up to this autumn to make the most of the beautiful crisp weather!
